    There are so many ways to read this image; “Images hit you on a whole different level,” than does text. Text is read linearly, where as a visual can be read in so many ways. In class, Professor Gina mentioned that things like this take time, “let things speak to you rather than you trying to control it.”

    I think a large part of creating a visual that grabs someones attention for a long time is if the images, visuals, symbols used are not used in their “typical” ways rather represent a new identity when they are combined together. Our translations of these symbols in a new identity will differ for every individual.

    The best part about your photo is its simplicity. There is no need for conversation or conjecture. Whether you hate guns or love them, you understand right away what has taken place. And the more you hate or love guns, the more powerful it is. Great job.
